The Pre-licensing Course may be taken in the classroom or by virtual classroom or distance learning. If you opt for the classroom option, you will receive a MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. Whatever version you choose to study, all courses use the same curriculum content. The provider will report your completion at the DMV when you've successfully completed your course. You will not be required to present a certificate in order to appear for your driver's test.
